The APP Control airport editor is a free iPad app that makes possible to create and play a custom airport. Use it to create and edit runways and intersections. Select runways or intersections by touching them on the map, or select them in the list on the left hand side of the display.

APP Control Airport Editor

Set all properties, arrange your layout, and once you’re done, click on “Test” to play your newly created airport. If you’re happy with it and want to share it with other players, click on submit, indicate your name, email and the name of your airport, and it will be uploaded to the APP Control server.

We review all received airports manually, and all good ones will be included in the airport database, making them available for all APP Control players. The APP Control airport editor for iPad and the submission are free, and airports created by users are also available for free for the users of the full iOS version.

Be creative, send real-life or fantasy airports, and share with the APP Control community!

Hi, great ATC game. Is it possible to add Johannesburg Airport, South Arica (FAJS/JNB)? Recently changed to FAOR. Thanks.

Hi Christian,

unfortunately, given the numer of interface elements required, an airport editor on iPhone is not possible. But we will may be introduce a web version soon.
